Canandaigua Rotary Waterfront Festival and Street Dance:

Saturday, August 10: 5pm-10:30pm

Enjoy food, drinks, live music and the Street Dance, and finish the night with a spectacular fireworks show.


We’ve teamed up with the Canandaigua Rotary Festival and Street Dance this year to bring you even more entertainment, including a second wine and beer tent, street dancing and extended hours on Saturday—until 10pm!

Lakeshore Drive will be closed to traffic from the City Pier to Steamboat Landing, giving visitors free and easy access to all the various vendors, shows, cooking demonstrations and activities.

Parking & Shuttle Services

Parking will be available in the Parkway Plaza, the former Wegmans Plaza and the CMAC parking lot at Finger Lakes Community College. A free shuttle service will be available for festival-goers who park in the CMAC parking lot. Shuttle services provided by Ontario ARC.

Handicapped parking will be located in the parking lot behind the Hess gas station on the corner of Lakeshore Drive and Muar Street.

First Aid

The First Aid Tent will be set up with trained medical technicians from the Canandaigua Emergency Squad to assist with any medical needs.

Benefiting the Canandaigua YMCA & CHARITIES OF THE CANANDAIGUA ROTARY

Donations and sponsorship money help benefit the Canandaigua Family Y's Caring for Kids Campaign and charities of the Canandaigua Rotary, including many nonprofits throughout Ontario County, making this the largest fundraising weekend in Ontario County!

To date, the Riesling Festival has donated more than $120,000 to the Canandaigua area.

Monies raised helped the following:

  • 548 kids were given the chance to thrive in preschool, child-care classes, sports, swim classes and so much more
  • 480 adults were given the opportunity to get healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle
  • 12 seniors continued to stay active and keep moving because of the SilverSneakers Program
  • 7 young adults turned to the teen center for a safe after-school environment with other kids their age
  • Festival-goers can make donations on site
